What is it?

Skin boosters give the skin what it needs, the hydration and moisture, that supports the integrity and health. It is indicated to revitalise early onset sun damaged facial skin. Photodamage or sun damage can present with signs of dehydration, loss of elasticity and firmness, and presence of superficial fine lines.

What is early onset sun damage?

Early onset sun damage or photo damage is premature signs of ageing due to ongoing exposure to the sun or harmful light rays. Exposure can start in the first decade without visible signs on the skin. As the exposure continues, early signs such as tanning, freckles and sunspots emerge. Other signs of sun damage can be seen by the development of fine lines, dryness, uneven pigmentation and texture as well as loss of elasticity and firmness.

When will I see the results?

Your treatment will start to work immediately, hydrating your skin, noticeable results after several days and optimal results can be seen after complete course of 3 treatments.

What is unique?

Skin boosters is indicated to revitalise the signs of early onset sun damage, which accounts for approximately 90% of external ageing. As well as this, Lasting moisturising effect, as it promotes water absorption within the skin, resulting in increased hydration, smoothness, elasticity and firmness.

How long does it last?

The duration of Revive results varies depending on each individual. In some patients Revive has been seen to last between 6 to 9 months, but there are many factors to consider, such as the structure of your skin, lifestyle and age.

How many treatments will I need?

Injected under a treatment regimen of 1 to 3 injection sessions depending on your needs. We advise you book a follow up appointment no less than 4 weeks after your first treatment to assess the initial outcome and continue with your treatment plan. Your treatment starts to work immediately, hydrating your skin.

Am I suitable?

Are there side effects?

Immediately after treatment there may be some redness, tenderness or numbness, itching or bruising. This is a normal result of the injection and can last up to a week. During this time the area may look uneven, therefore the result directly after treatment should not be viewed as the final result. If any side effect lasts for longer than a week, please contact your practitioner.

Does the treatment hurt?

Administered through multiple injections which may cause discomfort. Your experience is optimised and made most comfortable with numbing cream generously applied.
